Influencer marketers appoint new council members to the trade association

The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) today announced its 2024 Guiding Council, with several new council members set to join the governing body.

The upcoming council, which was elected by AIMCO members, will include the return of five sitting council members, along with five new members. The remaining eight council members are up for re-election in 2025.

AiMCO’s Guiding Council was established in 2019 alongside the establishment of the Australian Influencer Marketing Council. The Guiding Council oversees the strategy and direction for AiMCO and its initiatives, working with members to activate policies and programs while providing overall direction for AiMCO activities.

The AiMCO Guiding Council 2024:

“I am delighted to have been re-elected to the Guiding Council, and to continue in the role of chair over the coming year,” said Social Law Co. chair Tegan Boorman.

“I look forward to working with the renewed Guiding Council as we continue to guide the trade association in identifying and implementing influencer marketing best practices at a pivotal time for the industry.”

Councilor and Tourism Australia Acting General Manager of Global PR, Content and Social, Nicole Foster, said it was an honor to be part of AiMCO’s Guiding Council.

“I am excited to be part of the evolution of Australia’s influencer marketing industry, while also providing crucial educational opportunities and setting industry standards.”

The appointments are effective immediately.
