It is BJP that has wronged AP: Sudhakar Reddy

Darsi (Prakasam district): Congress candidate for Ongole parliamentary constituency, Eda Sudhakar Reddy, said the Congress party has not done any injustice to the state but it is the BJP that has failed to fulfill the promises made to the state in the AP Reorganization Act .

Sudhakar Reddy, while addressing an election rally along with Darsi Assembly candidate Putluri Kondareddy in Donakonda village on Monday, said that the Congress had included special category status, support for Polavaram project and new capital in the reorganization bill, but the BJP government the Center and the TDP and YSRCP governments in the state had failed to implement it. He said the liquor and mining mafia are ruling the state and they are contesting elections to loot resources. He said the TDP and YSRCP parliamentary candidates are not locals and they are in the district only on their business.

After interacting with the Muslims at a local mosque, Sudhakar Reddy said that the BJP is trying to provoke communal riots and create division in the country in the name of religion. The Congress encourages secularism and wants people of all religions to live in peace, he added. He said that a house will become a happy home if the head of the family is good and the nation will be a happy and safe country if Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister. He requested the people to vote for Congress and make him and Kondareddy MP and MLA respectively for the development of the district and constituency.

Congress leaders Vuddandi Mallikharjuna Rao, Telagala Bujji, Ungarala Srinu, CPM leaders Sirupalli Anjaiah, Tndava Rangarao and their party workers participated in the campaign.
