Meet Lady Mae and IHOP, this week’s CVAS Pets of the Week

Meet Lady Mae and IHOP, this week’s CVAS Pets of the Week. These are just two of the amazing animals that reside in the area’s animal shelters.

Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has many adorable pets looking for a forever home. While Lady Mae and IHOP would love to meet you, you can also check out all the other adorable animals available for adoption. Go here Animal shelter link to see all their residents.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the beautiful animals available for adoption at the shelter.

Pets are homeless for a variety of reasons and need a new home and a second chance. So if you’re looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and companion.

Adoption now takes place by appointment only and that has worked very well. Donors have also helped with supplies and money, which is very necessary to support the shelter’s homeless animals.

Potential adopters can call 717-263-5791 for more information.

Lady Mae

Lady Mae was returned to the shelter because she was not suitable for the family. Lady Mae is an active, playful girl who loves attention! She is a 1-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix who has a high chase drive and does not get along well with cats or other small animals.

She does bark at other dogs, but with proper introduction she can enjoy their company. Lady Mae is very active and can play rough, so there may be an age restriction for children in the home. Please discuss this with the shelter staff. She would love to have another chance to find her loving forever home soon! CVAS, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, Kennel License #2090

IHOP

IHOP was brought to the shelter after she stood up for herself in the wild. When she arrived, she was covered in ticks. IHOP is a very sweet American mix bunny who has been to external events and let people hold him. She has been spayed since her arrival at the shelter and is ready to find her forever home. Could that be yours?
