CPAC speakers advocate for the fight against woke ideology, illegal immigration and anti-Semitism

On Thursday, on the first day of CPAC Hungary, several speakers advocated the fight against woke ideology, anti-Semitism and illegal immigration.

Tom van Grieken, the leader of the Vlaams Belang party, praised Hungary’s firm steps against illegal immigration, calling for help for refugees in their countries of origin and calling for the deportation of illegal immigrants to their home countries. He called Hungary the headquarters of conservative resistance.

Amichai Chikli, Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Minister, praised flourishing Israeli-Hungarian relations and said the Hungarian government was one of Israel’s most important supporters. Wokeism, he said, was the enemy of the family and a threat to nation states and diversity.

Marek Kuchinski, a representative of the Polish Law and Justice (PiS) and former chairman of the Polish Sejm, said the conference had brought together “free and equal countries that want to coexist freely as equals.”

He said the current challenges facing Central Europe include a crisis of values, democracy and the rule of law, calling open dialogue and cooperation such as that of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries “the most effective defense” against them .
