4 Flutes Machining, led by Founder and President Zack Bishop, has been recognized as an APEX Accelerator Best Small Business 2024 presented by Michigan Celebrations Small Business. 4 Flutes Machining will be recognized on stage during the in-person awards ceremony during the 20th Annual Michigan Celebrations Small Business Awards Gala on May 21, 2024.

The event will gather more than 800 guests at the Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan to celebrate the achievements of this year’s winners.

“At 4 Flutes Machining, our journey has been an uphill battle, overcoming obstacles and moving forward,” noted Zack Bishop. Reflecting on the company’s growth and achievements, he says: “As our company has grown over the years, we have narrowed our focus to the latest, highest levels of equipment, including multi-axis, robotically loaded production cells and high-productivity horizontal milling machines. Leveraging the advanced technology available in machine tools has been critical to our success and performance.”

Bishop’s strategic vision has led the company to diversify its services into several industries, including aerospace, defense, medical and power generation. Specializing in aerospace and defense, 4 Flutes Machining has built a reputation for delivering premium quality and precision, backed by exceptional customer service. Bishop emphasized the company’s commitment to excellence and safety by strictly utilizing Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) raw materials and becoming an International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registered manufacturer. “We are very proud of our U.S. manufacturing industry and plan to pursue greater visions of continued on-shoring of manufactured products and service delivery to the
ever-growing domestic needs.”

Despite its meteoric rise, 4 Flutes Machining remains firmly rooted in the local community, championing American-made excellence, actively contributing to local initiatives and participating in community events, politics and development. “Our success is deeply tied to the support of our community,” Bishop affirmed. “We have great relationships with our local officials in the Village of Vicksburg and their continued support makes it an easy decision to not only stay here, but expand here.”

Looking ahead, Bishop expressed optimism about the future of 4 Flutes Machining, envisioning continued growth and innovation. “The future looks bright for those who dare to innovate,” Bishop said. “As we enter the next chapter of our journey, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible and delivering the absolute best customer service the industry can rely on.”
