The young Latina who applied to 28 universities in the United States and was accepted into all of them

17-year-old Malena Galletto has achieved an incredible feat by being accepted into all 28 universities she applied to in the United States. Malena was born in the US to Argentinian parents and grew up immersed in Latin culture and the tango community in New York. Her bilingualism and deep knowledge of her heritage played an important role in her success.

In an interview with journalist Cristina Pérez, Malena revealed that her rigorous preparation for the application process began four years earlier. She devoted herself to reading, writing essays, and studying diligently to increase her chances of acceptance. Despite her efforts, Malena admitted that she never expected to be accepted by every university she applied to and considers it a dream come true.

The most challenging aspect of the application process for Malena was writing the many essays required by each school. Each university had specific prompts, ranging from three to seven essays, that gave Malena the opportunity to showcase her unique qualities and convince the admissions committees of her worthiness.

Malena’s extraordinary achievement serves as an inspiration to aspiring students around the world and demonstrates the power of perseverance and dedication. She now faces the difficult decision of choosing one university from the 28 prestigious options available to her.
