The rock-solid Paul Broadhurst is once again champion outside Dallas during the Invitationd Celebrity Classic

Broadhurst’s previous best finish this season also came at a rain-shortened event, the Chubb Classic in Florida in February. Disheartened by what he had deemed a poor performance in his opening tournament in Hawaii, Broadhurst had returned to England in January in the hope of seeing his teacher, who happened to be on holiday. So Sam Broadhurst, Paul’s son and a mini-tour player, looked to his father and gave him an idea to keep the club more for him, and not so within the takeaways. It worked well, leading to a tie for third place in a week of low expectations.
