27-year-old man dies after showing up at Bronx hospital with stab wound

A 27-year-old man died after showing up at a Bronx hospital Sunday with a stab wound, police said.

Police were called to BronxCare Health System just before 12:55 p.m. when victim Keven Ramirez arrived at the hospital alone with a stab wound to the chest, police said.

Hospital staff tried to save the man’s life, but he died shortly after police were called.

Detectives were working Sunday evening to retrace Ramirez’s steps and gather information about when and where he was attacked.

He lived in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx, police said.

No immediate arrests were made.
