Every year, on the first Monday in May, A-listers from Kim Kardashian to Blake Lively take to the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in extravagant looks chosen to match the event’s theme as the world watches.

In 2024, celebrity co-chairs Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez will be on hand to greet celebrity guests, dressed in keeping with this year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” which was selected in honor of the new Costume Institute exhibition. “Sleeping Beauty: Fashion Reawakening.”

While guest list fame Anna Wintour has only explicitly confirmed one banned guest (more on that later), other stars are believed to have been banned indefinitely from the Met Gala for various reasons.
