Japan and India rejected Biden’s comments, describing them as xenophobic countries

TOKYO – Japan and India on Saturday criticized U.S. President Joe Biden’s comments describing them as “xenophobic” countries that do not welcome immigrants, which the president said at a fundraising event earlier this week.

Japan said Biden’s assessment was not based on an accurate understanding of his policies, while India refuted the comment and defended itself as the world’s most open society.
