OJ Simpson died with only one “close family member” by his side: lawyer

LaVergne debunked the previous reports, stating that Simpson’s family post claiming he was surrounded by loved ones was inaccurate.

“You have to remember that their entire lives they shared OJ with the world,” the lawyer said of Simpson’s four surviving children. “At first they shared good OJ. But he was famous nonetheless. And then, in 1994, they had to share bad boy OJ with the world.”

“But in the end, these kids just lost a father,” he continued. “And they have the added burden of being one of the most famous people on the planet, polarizing and surrounded by controversy.”
