Just Churros is permanently closing its physical location

Last June, Just churros – a food truck dedicated to the classic art of churros making – opened its very first brick-and-mortar store at 4280 N. Oracle Rd.

On Friday, May 3, the family-owned business announced they are returning to what has proven most successful: operating out of a food truck and serving some of the best churros in Tucson.

“We sincerely thank you for your continued support,” they shared online. “Our new location will be in the parking lot of River and La Cañada, adjacent to Albertsons.”

Therefore, you can find them at 5075 N. La Cañada Dr., handing out recipes that have been circulating within the family for more than 40 years. Additionally, the family is excited to participate in more events and food truck rallies in the future.

“We will also participate in various events throughout the city. While we have really enjoyed operating out of a store, we believe that our business is currently better suited for our food truck. We look forward to serving you soon!”

So it’s not “goodbye” for Just Churros, it’s “we can’t wait to see you at the new food truck location and at local events in Tucson!”
