Amid the protests, university endowments show little sign of direct Israeli defense interests

While some universities are making deals with pro-Palestinian student groups to discuss calls for donations to schools to stop investing in Israel and defense stocks, a review of available public documents by The Washington Post shows little direct interest in the largest donations from public schools, underscoring the difficulty in any possible attempt to ultimately meet the protesters’ divestment demands.
