Omega Line recognized for economic contribution at Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards

Omega Line Ltd., a prominent garment exporter in Sri Lanka, affiliated with the Italy-based Calzedonia Group (now known as Oniverse), recently bagged the esteemed accolade of ‘Category Award Winner – Economic Contribution’ at the Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards, organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

Omega Line specializes in corsetry and beachwear and currently has an annual production and export volume of over 100 million garments, supporting a diverse and vibrant workforce of over 4,500 people, a significant majority of over 90% of whom are women , while also promoting opportunities for youth inclusion. and development. The company is steadily expanding its domestic fabric production capabilities through partnerships with local suppliers, aiming for a more resilient and adaptable supply chain.
