Sam Larry responds to reports of threatening Davido and gives him an ultimatum over the Wizkid fight

Lagos socialite Samsom Erinfolami Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, has spoken out on a report that he threatened Afrobeats star Davido over his rivalry with Wizkid.

Hours earlier, it was reported that the entertainment businessman had embroiled himself in the feud between the two famous musicians and Davido had threatened to apologise.

According to the allegation, Sam gave Davido an ultimatum and offered to intervene if he did not apologize to the director of Star Boy.

Recall that the Timeless hitmaker and the Made in Lagos singer heated up the internet during music industry popularity contests to the point where the latter branded the former songwriter, singer Peruzzi, as a ‘pants washer’.

The allegation against Sam Larry alleged that he shared a threatening post on his IG story saying:

‘Davido. Abi kini o pe. I will give you 25 hours to apologize to Machala or I may have to intervene.”

Sam Larry weighed in on the controversial post, claiming he had never made such a comment.

He called it a fake story and criticized bloggers for spreading false information about him.

“This is a fake story. Sam Larry never posted anything like this. Stop posting fake rumors about Sam Larry,” he wrote via his Instagram story.

Cleric says he couldn’t identify Sam Larry

In the viral video, the clergyman noted that he was initially unable to identify Sam Larry.

He said it was Sam Larry who told him he was the man accused of being involved in Mohbad’s death. The Islamic scholar noted that he had to ask the question directly to him before Sam Larry opened up to him.

Recall that Sam Larry and Naira Marley were arrested over Mohbad’s death but later released.
