LEGOLAND unveils new displays ahead of the holiday village opening

Model makers at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort have been busy recreating the creatures that will go on display at Britain’s first forest-themed LEGO holiday village in May. With less than a month to go until the highly anticipated opening of the £35 million LEGOLAND Woodland Village project, the team have stepped up their brick-building efforts to create a selection of woodland animals of all shapes and sizes. to bring to life.

From a family of fallow deer and miniature rabbits to the iconic Red Kite, ducks and even ducklings, the creatures will be on display when the new property opens to guests for the first time on Friday, May 24.



The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort team, including Jennifer Howlett and Fin Proudly-Smith, have stepped up their brick-building efforts to bring to life a ‘tree-repairing’ selection of woodland animals in all LEGO shapes and sizes ahead of the opening of the LEGOLAND Woodland Village Accommodation on Friday 24 May.

Thousands of LEGO bricks were used by model makers who spent a total of more than 300 hours creating the models installed on the enchanting LEGO Nature Trail. Helen Bull, Divisional Director of LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, said: “The countdown has begun to the opening of Britain’s first LEGO-themed holiday village, which will offer families the perfect mix of comfort and adventurous play in the heart of nature.


“Woodland Village offers a unique short break experience where guests can see an amazing range of new LEGO creature models built by our incredibly talented team. Families may even catch a glimpse of a real deer or red kite, which will be particularly exciting for Junior Rangers during their stay.”

The LEGOLAND Woodland Village will feature 130 lodges, 20 camping barrels, an on-site restaurant and a family entertainment center among the trees on a 25-acre site.
