Kathryn McCutchan named director of social services for Homage

LYNNWOOD—Homage, the largest provider of services for seniors and people with disabilities in Snohomish County, has named Kathryn McCutchan director of social services. McCutchan brings nearly three decades of expertise in behavioral health services management, community-based programming in prevention and intervention services, federal grant management, and project development and planning to her new position.

She has served as administrator for Hope House Home for the Elderly, deputy director of Empowering Pacific Island Communities, executive director of Pacific Youth and Community Development and has worked for the Department of Human and Social Services of the Government of American Samoa.

In her new role, McCutchan will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight of social service programs administered under the auspices of Homage.

As Homage’s director of social services, McCutchan will ensure Homage’s programs efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the target population in a culturally responsive manner, provide professional support, promote growth opportunities for Homage’s frontline and management staff, explore funding sources to expand programs and services, and strengthening organizational partnerships with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

McCutchan is deeply committed to serving the community, having served as president and executive director of the Pacific Behavioral Health Collaborating Council for the Pacific Region and as a board member of Hope House and Catholic Social Services in American Samoa. In 2022, she was appointed chair of the American Samoa Workforce Development Board by Governor Lemanu Mauga of American Samoa. She is the proud president of the Fa’asao High School Alumni Association, which raises money to invest in Catholic education. She currently serves on the board of the Office of Catholic Education for American Samoa.
