Ariel Winter is a fan of body art, but the latest addition to her collection is especially meaningful. She recently took to Instagram to share some photos with her fans and let them know the inspiration behind getting ink on her arm. She also thanked the tattoo artist for her in the caption “Beautiful, improvised piece.” She continued, “This tattoo will forever be my favorite. Words will never fully express how much and what this tattoo means to me, but I will try.”

The tattoo that means so much to Ariel Winter is of her beloved dog Chloe (who she informed fans is doing well). Why did she decide to have her pet inked on her skin forever? Chloe is a rescue dog who has had an incredible impact on the Modern family life of an actress. She adopted her in August 2016 and in the caption of her post she called this day ‘his’ “One of the best days of my life because I saved my soul dog Chloe.”

Winter also used her Instagram post as a way to raise awareness for GS rescue, where she got Chloe. She talked about her dog adoption experience and how positive it was. “When I got there, it didn’t take long before I knew I was taking her home. When I looked into her eyes, I knew it had to be this way. I knew she was my best friend and one of the deepest connections I would ever have.” she wrote.

“She is my whole heart. I don’t know where I would be without Chloe, and even the smallest thought of life without her breaks me to my core. The day I saved her, she started healing my broken inner child without me even realizing it. she explained. “Chloe sparked my passion for rescue and showed me my purpose.” Her words are beautiful and fans are touched by the emotional tribute to Ariel Winter’s pet.
