Law enforcement teams execute search warrant, several arrested

JACKSON, Tenn. – There was a heavy police presence at a local establishment earlier today, May 1.

Around 4:30 p.m., we received a tip about a large number of unmarked police cars at a building on the 500 block of Main Street.

When we arrived on the scene, several people were arrested.

Members of SWAT and Vice units were on scene, along with police dogs.

According to officials with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force, 26th Judicial District, a search warrant had been served at a barbershop near East Main and South Royal streets in reference to a drug investigation.
