The Ryan Gosling crime comedy thriller gives Megastar his biggest role

Black and his writing partner, Anthony Bagarozzi, were working on several variations of the script as early as 2001, making many changes and adjustments along the way.

At one point the script had been adapted into a television pilot for CBS, although the content was too violent and full of swear words, causing the studio to abandon the project at the request of their Standards and Practices department.
