“We have reached a stage where we can enable every young person to make a meaningful contribution to society. Through makesense you can volunteer for causes close to your heart, with Jobs_that_makesense you have the opportunity to build a career that actively creates positive change,” said Léa Klein, founder and president of Makesense Asia.

Until now, Jobs_that_makesense operated exclusively in France and had a remarkable user base of 2 million and 6,000 recruiters, matching more than 350,000 vacancies. Now, with its launch in Southeast Asia, the platform arrives at a crucial time. As the region anticipates an increase in sustainable jobs estimated to reach 30 million by 2030, Jobs_that_makesense Asia is bridging the gap between opportunity and talent.

“We don’t just match individuals with jobs; we are unleashing a cultural revolution towards a sustainable and socially conscious economy,” Léa continued. “Our goal is to make careers with impact not only desirable but also accessible to people from different backgrounds and geographies. Since its launch three months ago, our platform has posted more than 300 job openings every month, 60% of which are targeted at the Philippine market. This highlights the remarkable expansion of the impact and sustainability sector in the Philippines.”

Jobs_that_makesense Asia offers a comprehensive tailor-made service package for both job seekers and recruiters. For job seekers, the platform acts as a central hub for finding impact-related job opportunities, offering skills development resources and sharing inspiring stories from industry professionals.

“During our launch, we were surprised by the high demand for vacancies from the Philippines. Students and young professionals in the country are actively seeking purposeful career opportunities, and we want to ensure they find a job that matches their ambitions,” said Léa.

Recruiters benefit from a streamlined hiring process, with access to tools to manage job openings, schedule interviews and promote training programs directly on the platform, all for free.

As Jobs_that_makesense Asia embarks on its transformative journey, the team remains steadfast in its commitment to continuous improvement and adaptation. “This platform is a joint effort,” says Léa Klein. “We welcome feedback and collaboration with the impact ecosystem as this platform was created for them.”
