St. John’s Lutheran Community and Senior Resources announce partnership

May 1. John’s Lutheran Community in Albert Lea and Senior Resources of Freeborn County announced Wednesday that Senior Resources will move to St. John’s Lutheran Community’s Luther Place campus.

The move, to 901 Luther Place, is tentatively scheduled for June 2024 and will include all Senior Resources team offices and community outreach programs.

A press release said the organizations are excited about the partnership as it could significantly enrich the quality of life for all seniors in Albert Lea and Freeborn County. The new accessibility features in the Senior Resources office that will enhance this partnership are that the service areas are all handicapped accessible and Senior Resources customers can arrive via SMART Transit if necessary.

St. John’s Lutheran Community is home to many seniors who receive short-term rehabilitation care, skilled nursing care, assisted living and memory care, assisted living, and independent living. Its mission is to provide physical, emotional, social and Christian care to all people, with dignity and respect, in an environment of God’s grace.

The mission of Senior Resources of Freeborn County is to provide opportunities that promote the health and well-being of the aging population and others in need.
