‘In Jesus’ name’: Trump rally speaker demands God ‘undermine those who undermine justice’

A speaker at Donald Trump’s rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday prayed that Jesus would punish the people responsible for prosecuting the former president.

Before Trump could take the stage in Waukesha, a speaker invited the crowd to pray with her.

“And so today we call on you and ask that you grant President Trump wisdom, discernment, strength and determination to lead the return of our great country to that shining city upon a hill,” the woman asked God.

“O Lord, raise up among us men and women who will dedicate themselves to restoring our nation to the principles and ideals of our founding fathers.”

“And if it is your will, encourage President Trump to lead this compelling mission.”

The woman called on God to “move the hearts of the citizens of this great land to desire real justice to govern our nation.”

“We ask that you put a layer of protection around President Trump, rid him of the baseless attacks and remove from office those who undermine justice in our legal system,” she added. “In Jesus’ name, amen.”
