What Detroit landmarks and businesses should be on a city-themed Monopoly board?

Motown Museum? Lafayette Coney Island? The Heidelberg Project?

What iconic Detroit thing is a must for the upcoming Monopoly: Detroit Edition release? It is your chance to think along.

Gamer maker Top Trumps USA is asking for the public’s input on which Motor City companies, non-profit groups and landmarks should step up to the plate for the new game, which will be released this winter under license from Hasbro.

“Detroit is such a unique community with a rich history. We want to ensure that Monopoly: Detroit Edition accurately reflects what Detroit residents and tourists love about this charming city,” said Top Trumps representative Tim Barney in a press release announcing the call for entries.

Anyone can submit an idea or suggestion for what to put on one of the Monopoly squares for the Detroit game at TopTrumps.us/Detroit. Submissions are open until the end of May.

Once out this winter, Monopoly: Detroit Edition will be sold at select local retailers, as well as CVS and Amazon.
