We predict a balmy May in the DC area with warm weather and lots of rain

May has started and feels more like June, and it looks like the weather has rapidly improved for most of the next month.

Our forecast for May predicts temperatures will be about 2 to 5 degrees warmer than normal, with an average temperature between 69 and 72 degrees (the record warmest May average is 73.2 degrees, as of 2015).
