Brisbane is getting a new luxury hotel with VIP suites and breathtaking views

Brisbane will welcome a new luxury hotel that will become the centerpiece of one of the city’s largest and most exciting new developments.

Queensland’s first Kimpton Hotel graces the Brisbane River in Teneriffe, offering a signature restaurant, spa, fitness centre, absolute water access, an open-air terrace bar and a breathtaking infinity pool.

Kimpton will house approximately 155 rooms, including a large suite for celebrities and VIPs.

Real estate developer Kokoda Property has partnered with IHG Hotels & Resorts to deliver the hotel as part of its $1.5 billion residential and mixed-use project at Skyring Terrace, which will include residential apartments and warehouse-style lofts, co-working spaces .

“The brand’s lifestyle-oriented positioning, design and playful guest experiences fit in with this

perfect in this exciting and unique part of Brisbane.”

Construction is expected to start in 2025 and completion is scheduled for 2028.

Kokoda Property has completed five projects, under construction or development.

IHG Hotels & Resorts, Australasia & Pacific development director Cameron Burke said the Kimpton brand would resonate strongly with the Skyring Terrace precinct and within Brisbane’s luxury hotel market.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring our Kimpton brand to Brisbane, especially in such a strategic location that perfectly aligns with the brand’s aspirational ethos,” said Mr Burke.
