Designed by Parisian architectural firm RDAI, Hermès’ newest boutique seamlessly integrates the iconic design with the features of the new waterfront shopping destination set against the country’s surrounding desert.

What is striking is that the facade of the store, reminiscent of a stone massif, has structured surfaces and sculptural curves. Upon entering the store, guests are greeted by a spacious interior, decorated with sand tones and tactile finishes, showcasing women’s silks, with a fashion jewelry and men’s silk display on one side and the perfume and beauty universe on the other .

The central salon, topped by a high vaulted ceiling and accented with deep teal wallpaper, acts as the heart of the store and houses Hermès jewelry, watches and home accessories. Further on, the salon is divided into a men’s and women’s universe, with leather goods taking center stage.

From the floor decorated with milk blue and beige terrazzo tiles to the wave-inspired motifs that adorn the carpets, every detail continues to reflect sand and water.

The space is completed by artworks of horse silhouettes and naturalistic illustrations, including a series of sketches and paintings by artist Horace Vernet, ffrom the Émile Hermès collection. To mark the store opening, artist Faissal El-Malak’s artwork, ‘When the Guard Crosses the Street at Night’, also adorns the windows.

The opening marks Hermès’ sixth store in the Middle East, strengthening its presence in the region.
