disabled Ukrainians are exported to Russia

Commissioner for Children’s Rights of the Russian Federation Maria Lvova-Belova, together with the occupation authorities, took four students from the Oleshkiv Boarding House for Children with Special Needs, located in the Kherson region, to Penza. All four students are adults who are considered incompetent and deprived of parental care.

This is a new plan to take possession of the property and possibly alienate it from the invaders. After all, according to the law, the guardian of a disabled person becomes the organization in which he lives. The head has the right to manage the money and property of the departments (particularly their pensions) and to represent their rights in court. It must be recognized that the incompetence of the students may indicate their involuntary transfer to Penza.

The deportation of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia has already become systematic, and the Kremlin authorities openly flaunt it. Under the guise of “rest and psychological rehabilitation,” thousands of young Ukrainians were brainwashed by Russian propaganda. International law prohibits the movement of the population from the occupied territories, regardless of age and legal capacity. Forced displacement of the civilian population without valid reasons can be considered a war crime and, under certain circumstances, a crime against humanity. Therefore, we urge you to record and transmit all information about the crimes of the occupiers and collaborators, in order to stop this lawlessness and return to a peaceful life.
