WAZIRABAD: A tragic incident occurred when a mother tried to end her life along with her three children in Wazirabad, Punjab, amid a domestic dispute on Sunday.

Tragically, in Jinnah Colony in Wazirabad, she resorted to slitting the throats of her three children and cutting her own vein. Unfortunately, one of her children, a four-month-old baby, succumbed to the injuries inflicted. The two remaining children and their mother were quickly transported to the hospital; their condition was considered critical.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the distressing incident.

In another serious incident in Quetta, a woman committed suicide after administering a poisonous substance to her four daughters. The heartbreaking incident took place in Quetta’s Hazara town where the woman, in an act of desperation, poisoned her daughters, aged between three and ten.

According to police reports, after administering the poisonous substance to her young daughters, the mother ingested the poison herself. Tragically, the mother and three of her daughters were killed at the scene, while the fourth daughter was taken to hospital in a critical condition. Despite medical efforts, the fourth girl also tragically lost her life during treatment.
