Animal Well seems to put a spin on the Metroidvania game genre, where densely packed areas demand your attention and darkness is your biggest obstacle when exploring. Is Animal Well on Game Pass?

No, Animal Well is not on Game Pass. The Metroidvania will be available for purchase on Steam, but there are no plans for it to appear on Microsoft’s subscription service. However, Animal Well will release on PlayStation Plus on May 9, 2024 for anyone with an active subscription.

There’s a lot of hype surrounding Animal Well, and we think it could do for Metroidvanias what Undertale did for RPG games. It seems to challenge the genre and almost defy categorization itself.
