PH targets big-spending tourists from the US

THE Philippines is aiming to attract about 15 percent more visitors from the United States, with the highly valuable market seen as a major contributor to the full recovery of the tourism sector.

In 2023, more than 1.4 million visitors from the US came to the Philippines, generating P35 billion in revenue – the highest among the country’s major tourism markets.
