Funeral posters of junior pope Controversy, family speaks out

The family of late actor Junior Pope is clarifying concerns about his viral funeral posters while addressing the omission of the “husband” description.

It would be recalled that the family recently announced the funeral arrangements for the late actor, with his burial scheduled for May 17, 2024 at his hometown in Enugu State.

Several observant fans noticed that the death poster did not include the term “husband,” sparking speculation.

Before his death, Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele, and they have three sons; although speculations surfaced about their divorce.

In response to the circulating funeral posters, Junior’s family made it clear on Instagram that this was not authorized by them. They recognized the need for corrections to the poster and asked the public for help in removing the viral funeral posters.

The statement reads;

“Dear Junior Pope fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope needs some corrections. The family has asked for your help to take it down. They said the revised version will be released soon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”

It is worth noting that the actor died a few weeks ago along with some of his crew members after a boating accident.
