NASA Alert! Giant space rock race of 300 meters towards Earth: control distance and speed

A huge asteroid, 2022 TN1, is hurtling towards Earth. The space rock is expected to come close on April 30.

30-meter-long asteroid 2022 TN1 is racing towards Earth to make a close approach on April 30.

In a cosmic event that scientists at NASA are on high alert for, a massive asteroid known as 2022 TN1 is hurtling toward Earth at breakneck speed. This mammoth space rockwhich is 300 meters wide, will come frighteningly close to our planet on April 30, 2024.

The asteroid is expected to pass within about 7,130,461 kilometers of Earth – that’s less than 19 times the distance between Earth and the moon. As we zoom past at a dizzying speed of 63,828 kilometers per hour, it’s a close encounter that leaves experts on edge.

NASA assures us that TN1 will fly by safely in 2022, without risk of impact. However, it serves as a grim reminder of the potential dangers lurking in our cosmic environment.
