River Guardians urge Swan and Canning rivergoers to look for Moon the dolphin due to health concerns

Perth locals are being urged to keep a lookout for Moon the dolphin as a conservation group raises serious concerns about her health.

River Guardians shared the worrying news on their Facebook on Friday, saying Moon had a “large, noticeable lump just behind her head.”

The group is concerned about the “significant” increase in the size of the lump and is encouraging Swan and Canning rivergoers to keep an eye out for Moon.

“Recent observations over the past week indicate that this lump has increased significantly in size and we are concerned for her health. We are doing our best to keep an eye on her, but she can be quite elusive,” River Guardians wrote.
