Sonu Sood’s WhatsApp blocked for more than 36 hours: ‘Needy probably tries for help’

Actor Sonu Sood took to his Instagram account to express his concerns over his blocked WhatsApp account. The actor shared on his Instagram story that his WhatsApp account had been inaccessible for more than 36 hours. He also tagged WhatsApp and urged the platform to address his concerns as many ‘needy’ people are ‘desperately’ trying to contact him for help.

In one of his Instagram stories, Sood wrote, “Still my account is not working. Time to wake up guys. It’s been more than 36 hours. Message me directly on my account ASAP. Hundreds of needy people need try to ask for help. Please do your part.”

When his request went unattended, the ‘Dabangg’ actor shared another post. He wrote: “What’s going on… Whatsapp? Wake up!!! Thousands of needy people are desperately trying to ask for help. Please investigate. The account has been blocked. URGENT (sic).”

Along with his messages, Sonu Sood also attached a screenshot of the message he received from WhatsApp, which read: “This account can no longer use WhatsApp… Chats are still on this device. Check review status.”

Earlier, the actor had also raised his concerns on

Sonu Sood has been involved in philanthropic work since 2020, when the coronavirus hit the country. He helped people get home safely and find beds in hospitals.

The actor was last seen in ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, opposite Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar. He will next be seen in ‘Fateh’, opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.
