Huckleberry at the Lowell Humane Society – Sentinel and Enterprise

As spring arrives, outdoor walks bring immense joy to Huckleberry, an American bulldog who currently works at the Lowell Humane Society. He is only three years old and just arrived at the shelter with excellent manners. Huck walks loosely on a leash, is toilet trained and likes to cuddle with shelter volunteers. He is in excellent health and is definitely a “gentle giant” at 97 pounds.

He welcomes affection but would not fit well in a home with cats or small animals. If you have a puppy at home, take your dog to the shelter for a slow introduction to Huck. He is a classic brown and white bulldog and extremely photogenic – almost as if he knows how sweet he is, and what a superstar that needs a loving person or furry animal.

Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, open Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Call 978-452-7781 or email [email protected]. If you can’t adopt, please share this story.
