Youth Health Fair held in Humboldt

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. – One event in a local town aims to get kids healthy.

A health fair was held today at Humboldt Medical Center at 3525 Chere Carol Road.

The event was created to raise awareness of the health needs of primary and secondary school-aged children in the area.

There were several stands set up with useful information for parents to find out more about the different services offered in the community.

Organizers wanted a way to help parents access needed resources and help them find ways to provide needed medical care, better nutrition, and implement good exercise habits for their families.

This event was free of charge.
