Sandeep Reddy Vanga announces the shooting of ‘Animal 2’ to begin in 2026

Renowned filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga has announced that the shooting of the sequel to the Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ will begin in 2026. Vanga revealed this exciting update at a recent awards ceremony, where he himself was honored with an award.

During the event, Vanga shared insights into the highly anticipated sequel, titled ‘Animal Park’. He revealed that filming for the sequel will begin in 2026. Furthermore, he teased that ‘Animal Park’ promises to be even bigger and more exciting than its predecessor, ‘Animal’.

The concept of a Sandeep Reddy Cinematic Universe also came up during the discussion. Vanga expressed openness to the idea and suggested that stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Deverakonda and Prabhas could potentially share the screen in such a universe. However, he clarified that while intriguing, he had not considered the concept before.

When asked about the casting choices, Vanga said Suriya would have been ideal for the lead role if “Animal” was made in Tamil.

In addition to the “Animal” sequel, Vanga revealed details about his upcoming projects. He confirmed his collaboration with Prabhas for the film “Spirit” and announced an upcoming project with Allu Arjun.

Fans of Vanga’s work can expect more exciting and ambitious projects in the future, as the acclaimed filmmaker continues to expand his film repertoire.
