Congress ‘wants to give your children’s assets to Muslims’: Anurag Thakur | Chandigarh News

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Saturday said the hand of foreign powers is visible with the hand of Congress in its manifesto that wants to “give property of your children to the Muslims”.

“It is up to the public to decide that your assets should go to your children or the Muslims. We have given equal rights to the Muslims, from toilets, houses to gas cylinders and food, but not in the name of religion.” Thakur said at a meeting in Hamirpur.

The BJP leader said Congress wants to divide the country on the basis of religion and region.
The tukde tukde gang has adopted the mentality of the Congress and it is up to the public to decide whether they want to support the forces that are dividing the country or uniting the country, he said.

“I would like to ask Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that when Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister of the country, there was a rule that 55 percent of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s property would go to the state exchequer, but Rajiv Gandhi changed the law to save his property,” he claimed.

Thakur said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has made progress and become stronger in the world. It is now the duty of all party workers to extend a helping hand to Modi by sending all four MPs from the state and also to elect the six MLAs where by-elections will be held on June 1, he added.

Festive offer

The BJP leader said that Prime Minister Modi has given 33 percent reservation for women, which in itself is a big achievement, adding that women have not been given proper respect during the 55 years of the Congress party.
