Shoe Zone is reopening today in new premises in Taunton after relocating from High Street

SHOE Zone has officially opened its new store in Taunton today (Saturday, April 27) after leaving its former premises in the town.

The brand new store is located on North Street, next to River Island, in the building formerly occupied by menswear chain Blue Inc. was established.

In May 2023, ‘Closing’ signs appeared in the windows of the previous Shoe Zone store on the High Street, but it was initially unclear whether the store was closing or moving.

A spokesperson for Shoe Zone said: “The new premises will showcase Shoe Zone’s latest store design concept, which presents a combination of Shoe Zone’s exclusive in-house brand and a wide range of popular brand styles.”

The Shoe Zone store in Taunton is part of a chain of stores selling a wide range of shoes and bags for men, women and children.

In 2020, the company announced the closure of twenty stores post-Covid.
