New Delhi (India), April 27: Renowned author Shobhaa De and influential social media figure Masoom Minawala took center stage at a recent Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO) event organized by the Delhi Chapter, sparking conversations on the empowerment and aspiration of women.
Shobhaa De, known for her insightful commentary and diverse literary portfolio, shared her anticipation of breaking into new literary territories with upcoming works. From journalism to best-selling novels, De’s journey has captivated audiences as she delved into social dynamics and personal stories. Celebrated for her digital presence and advocacy for women’s empowerment, Masoom Minawala unveiled her latest book, “She’ll Never Make It.” Minawala encouraged women to break societal norms and urged them to pave their way to their dreams. She also launched a non-profit initiative to support Indian designers, aimed at increasing the recognition of small-scale businesses and artisans. The event also featured a showcase of YFLO Delhi’s “Project Katran”, a sustainability initiative that combines environmental consciousness with women empowerment. In collaboration with NGO Lakshyam, the project transforms scrap kataran into exquisite creations.
