Armormax’s TAC-6, based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 79, is a six-wheeled tactical vehicle designed for military special forces. What sets this vehicle apart from the competition is the OEM-spec eight-speed automatic transmission, developed by ZF, which uses gear drives instead of chain drives for the transfer case.

The cabin can be equipped with B6 armor, meaning it can withstand bullets from an assault rifle, while two fuel tanks with a capacity of 210 liters (55.4 gallons) and 90 liters (23.7 gallons) respectively allow the vehicle set to travel more than 2,000 km (1,242 miles). South Africa-based Armormax Defense says pricing for the TAC-6 starts at approximately $81,500 USD.
