Environment department is going to conduct a training program on rainwater harvesting for plumbers-Telangana today

Participants can select their favorite training center and date (April 22, 24 or 25) via the provided Google form.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Environment, Forest, Science and Technology Department, in collaboration with various government departments, is conducting a three-hour technical training program for plumbers, focusing on installation of rainwater harvesting and rainwater harvesting structures, along with the rainwater project. .

Individual plumbers and residents’ welfare associations (RWAs) are strongly encouraged to participate in this initiative by registering their plumbers through the Googling Form available from the official websites from EPTRI, GHMC and HMWSSB.

Participants can select their preferred training Centre and date (22, 24 April or 25e) through the offered Googling form. After the training, participants receive a photo ID card badge that certifies them. This initiative aims to equip plumbers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement rainwater harvesting techniques and thus contribute to sustainability and water conservation efforts for the greater good of our community and the environment.

The departments involved in imparting training include MA&UD, GHMC, Irrigation, PR&RD, HMWSSB, Horticulture, Groundwater, CDMA, TSPCB and EPTRI, said press release.
