Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has commended the resilience of the EFCC despite mounting pressure from suspects.

The Vanguard reported that Bello said the fear of arrest prevents him from appearing publicly in court.

She also commended the recent transfer of fourteen recovered properties to the Enugu State government after decades of investigation.

Reacting to a recent video featuring EFCC boss Ola Olikoyede, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan noted that he had earlier approached Bello to explain the mysterious disappearance of a large sum of money belonging to Kogi State Government.

Natasha said:

“I was surprised to hear that Yahaya Bello dodged the invitation of the EFCC despite having served as a former chief security officer of Kogi. As a former governor, he should understand the importance of respecting the Nigerian laws and constitution.”
