daa signs up for business in the Ireland Elevate Pledge community

daa, the operator of Dublin and Cork airports, has joined the Business In The Community Ireland Elevate Pledge. The Elevate Pledge aims to support companies in building more inclusive workplaces. The ultimate ambition of this initiative is a workforce that is representative of all members of Irish society. By signing, daa is demonstrating its continued commitment to creating an inclusive workplace that empowers all employees equally and everyone is supported to thrive.

As part of our ongoing efforts to create a diverse and inclusive working environment, daa wholeheartedly endorses a 50:50 gender split for appointments within the Group. This commitment promotes equality and provides opportunities for all.

Our main goal is to create a working environment that ensures greater gender balance throughout the company. While there is still a gender pay gap in DAA, we have implemented a range of initiatives to address it. We specifically focus on improving women’s representation at senior career levels, including:

• Flexible Work Arrangements: We offer flexible work options to meet a variety of needs.

• Gender neutral job descriptions: ensuring fairness and equal opportunities during recruitment.

• Diverse interview panels: Encouraging unbiased hiring practices.

• Executive Women in Leadership Program: Empowering women to excel in leadership roles.

As an equal opportunity employer, daa actively supports and encourages all employees, regardless of role, to reach their full potential.
