Rathnam director Hari’s viral family photo is winning hearts on the internet

Director Hari is considered an important part of the Tamil film industry. He has given some of the biggest hits to the people. He married legendary actor Vijayakumar’s daughter, Preetha Vijayakumar, and they are parents to three sons. A new image of the couple with their three sons is circulating among fans. The now-viral image shows the filmmaker with his wife and three adult sons, sharing a blissful, content moment as a family. Hari is seen wearing a shiny, silk traditional South Indian outfit, matching his appearance with his sons. Preetha is wearing a beautiful gold colored Kanjeevaram saree. She paired the outfit with heavy gold jewelry, including a necklace, a set of bracelets on each wrist and matching large earrings. The sons surround their mother, while their father stands proudly to the side, all sharing warm smiles for the camera.

Hari married Preetha Vijayakumar, also a former actress, in the year of his directorial debut. His eldest son Sriram is an actor. Hari has written super hits like the Suriya-starrer Singam franchise, Ayya and Venghai.

On April 26, Hari’s latest film Rathnam, starring Vishal, was released in theatres. The film’s cast includes Priya Bhawani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Ramachandra Raju, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Yogi Babu. It is produced by Kaarthekeyan Santhanam and Alankar Pandian under the banners of Stone Bench Films, Zee Studios and Invenio Origin. The music in the film has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the cinematographer is M Sukumar and TS Jay has done the editing. Hari has also written the story for the film.

The Singam franchise is one of the most successful film series in South Cinema, made under Hari’s direction. Actor Suriya plays the title role, along with Anushka Shetty as the female lead.
