Karan Patel says mix of celebrities and common man in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss not required: ‘Draw a line’

TV actor Karan Patel has turned down offers to join Bigg Boss many times, expressing his strong dislike for the reality show. He has previously criticized the show as “dirty and disrespectful.” However, in a recent interview, he made it clear that his comments were misunderstood. Karan spoke at length about his reasons for not liking the show and emphasized that it is not always possible to curry favor with host Salman Khan. lead to career opportunities in the entertainment industry.

What I meant is that even Salman Bhai says time and again that the show has become so dirty that even he can’t sit with his mother and watch it. That’s exactly what I repeated. That’s why I don’t do that show, because I don’t understand the mix of the audience in the first place. Why was it necessary? I understand you have a lot of different audiences, but if you don’t draw a line between a celebrity coming into the show and when a regular citizen comes in, who are people watching the show for?”

He added: “To say disrespectful is an understatement. People now have no boundaries anymore, they can stoop to any level. How cheap and disgusting they have become in the last 2-3 years. I can’t tolerate this happening to a woman, even if I don’t get along with someone. I would hit a man on the street if I see him misbehaving towards a woman. Unfortunately, hitting is not allowed in Bigg Boss. Otherwise everyone will get swollen cheeks when I go.”

Karan also shared his views on the impact of Bigg Boss on careers and said that the show does not make or break careers. “Those who came out of Bigg Boss started their career from the same place where they participated in the show. For example, my friend Aly Goni, YRF, didn’t sign him after coming out of Bigg Boss. They are still where they are. It’s you who can make or break it depending on what you do indoors. If Salman Khan says that ‘you deserve a lot of work’, you won’t get a film. Maybe he likes you, that’s his generosity, but that doesn’t lead to offers.”
