George Clooney was filming a scene Syrian in 2015 when he accidentally cracked his head open. He started to feel the pain at that moment, but Lisa KudrowThe neurologist’s brother discovered at the time that he had a more serious condition.

“We started doing things called myelograms, where they shoot contrast into your system and you can see what’s leaking out. I had a two-inch tear in the middle of my back and a half-inch tear in my back. my neck,” says Clooney.

“The doctors make these blood patches, where they tie you to a bed, and you’re awake because they have a long needle and they need to know if they’re touching your spinal cord, and they take blood and shoot it right into your spine to to try to get the blood to clot in those places,” he added in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “I did about 15 in 15 days. It’s like having a spinal tap every day and you’re awake… I thought I was going to die.”

Clooney suffered extreme pain due to his condition, leading his doctors to attempt to correct the problem during surgery in December 2005.

He also underwent pain management therapy, but he revealed that he still struggled with the persistent discomfort afterward.
