CAIRO – April 25, 2024: Egypt’s Emigration Minister Soha Gendi announced that the Fifth Conference of Egyptian Expatriates will be held on August 4 and 5.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs said the minister held preparatory meetings with the ministry’s leaders.

Gendi underlined that the conference should achieve an outcome that meets the aspirations of Egyptians abroad.

She underlined the importance of coordination with the relevant ministries and state authorities.

The minister noted that a link for registration for the conference has been launched with a registration deadline of July 1.

Gendi underlined the willingness to follow up on all the details of the conference to build on the success of the two previous editions, which witnessed the highest attendance since the launch of the conference.

She said the conference will continue to be a sustainable platform for direct communication with Egyptian expatriates to realize their aspirations within the framework of the state’s 2030 sustainable development plan.
