Jordanian tourism increases by %25.3 | Company

Ammon news – The number of Jordanians who left the country for tourism purposes in January and February reached 328,814, an increase of 25.3% compared to the same period in 2023.

The total number of Jordanians who left last January was 164,642 and 164,172 in February, a total of 328,814, according to official preliminary figures.

The total number of Jordanians who left in January 2023, according to Al-Mamlaka, was 140,054 Jordanians, and in February it was 122,406, a total of 262,460.

The latest data from the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) shows that tourism revenues in Jordan recorded an 8.9% growth in February, compared to the same month in 2023, reaching JD 389.7 million ($549.6 million).

During the first two months of 2024, tourism revenues increased by 4.5%, reaching JD 782.6 million ($1.1 billion).
